Engineer selection and installation
- Match the exact connection size and type to the liquid line before ordering.
- Install in the position and flow orientation stated by the manufacturer, normally downstream of the filter drier.
- Interpret the indicator colour against the actual refrigerant and operating temperature; do not diagnose charge condition from bubbles alone.
- For solder versions, purge with dry nitrogen, keep flame away from the body and protect the indicator from brazing heat.
- Pressure-test and leak-test the completed joint using approved refrigeration procedures.
